Orders generated from an ERP/WMS/OMS can contain as much, or as little information the system is able to generate. Any information missing from the order record will be populated with info from the Account Master record.
The minimum info needed in an order file:
- Order Number
- Order Volume (weight)
- Special instructions
- Delivery address
Orders are matched to the appropriate Account Master record using a unique identifier, typically the account ShipTo, to append the other information needed for routing.
Appian can accept basic order summary information or line-level detail.
