TABLE OF CONTENTS
The data grid shows information about each route, including icons for the export status, the planned and actual start time, the assigned resources, and if a scheduling conflict is occurring.
Each line in the grid represents a route for the currently selected date and branch. The color of the line shows the current progress status:
Routes with a white background are unassigned and not logged in.
Routes with a blue background are routes that are preassigned and not logged in.
Routes with a green background are assigned and logged in.
Routes with a grey background are assigned and logged off.
The data grid can be expanded or collapsed using the expand icon at the top of the grid.
To rearrange the columns, drag the header left or right to the desired locations to configure the columns to display or hide different elements.
To reorder the columns, drag the header to the desired position.
The data grid can be sorted very similarly to the unloaded orders or routes, but a new sort type of assignment status is available. This sorts the list based on the progress of a route. Unassigned routes are sorted to the top, preassigned but not started next, followed by in-progress and completed routes.
The data grid can also be filtered very similarly to unloaded orders or routes. Common filters for dispatch activities have been created as saved filters. These include:
Unassigned
Preassigned Only
Logged In
Logged Off
Not Logged In
Filtering shows only the routes in the data grid that meet the filter criteria.
Assignment
If driver, device, or asset assignment has not been done during the planning phase on the calendar, each can be preassigned from this page. To preassign, select the appropriate driver, device, or asset from each dropdown. The assignment occurs automatically. To change preassignment, select a new driver, device, or asset from the same dropdown.
To unassign a route completely, select unassigned from the dropdown box in the appropriate resource. Alternatively, routes can be unassigned by right-clicking on a route line and clicking Unassign.
Once a route is logged in, the resource cannot be unassigned unless the login has been undone. Alternatively, routes that are preassigned, but not logged in can.
Exporting Routes
Depending on the telematics/mobile integration, exporting a route may be a requirement to get route plans to the drivers. Also, depending on the integration, preassignment may be a required step before exporting routes.
To export a single route, right-click on the route line and click Export. Depending on the integrations available, a list will appear allowing you to select which device type to export to.
To export multiple routes, check the box next to each route and click Export. The same dropdown with available integrations will be displayed allowing you to select the correct device types to export to.
You can also re-export a route via the same process.
Export Status
Export status is displayed on the data grid via an icon to the left of the route number. The colors of the icon represent different export statuses that should be paid attention to. The status can also be understood by hovering over the export status icon.
Grey represents a route that has yet to be exported. It’s only grey if the route is unassigned.
Orange represents a route that is preassigned but not exported.
Green represents a route that has been exported.
Red represents a route that has been previously exported and changed, so it needs to be reexported.
