New Features

Points of Interest (POI) Manager

The POI feature enables users to identify and save geolocations on the map in a library that can be used in the same manner as a legitimate address when assigning and routing orders in DRTrack.


The POI feature can be useful for deliveries to locations where addresses may not yet be available (i.e. new construction), deliveries to rural or unincorporated areas, or when addresses are not updated and/or correct, but physical location is known. Customers who spend a lot of time manually geocoding many orders will find the POI feature a great time-saver.


Capabilities include:

  • Drag and drop a pin on the map and save the location as a new POI.
  • Assign POIs to unloaded orders from the Route Planning page.
  • Each POI is assigned a unique name, saved in a library for reuse with any unloaded order, or any customer.
  • The POI library can be searched and sorted, and any POI can be viewed, edited, or deleted.

Enhancements

  • Removed the *Refresh Stale Data* button due to a backend change which made this feature redundant.
  • The getavailabletruckmaster function now fetches all hotshot trucks for the given truck profile when creating new routes or when using the Route Building Wizard. Hotshot trucks will no longer be automatically selected in the Route Building Wizard, but can still be selected on the Truck Profile tab. EDates and LDates of hot shot trucks will be ignored when a user goes through the Create Route workflow.
  • Daily Planner now displays break times, layovers, and wait times in both grid view and card view on the Route Planning page, and also on the new Fixed Routes page. These visual indicators are currently static and view only.
  • Users can now see a route’s preassignment status if they hover over the preassignment dot on both the Route Planning page and the Fixed Routes page. The colors indicate a driver’s status:
    • Blue = Preassigned
    • Green = Logged In
    • Red = Logged Off
  • All truck fields can now be customized when using the Route Building Wizard. Previously, only some fields were customizable.
  • Solution Stats panel UI was updated to be more user-friendly and easier to view.

  • Fixed an issue where our old caching infrastructure was causing issues maintaining data integrity through transactions.
  • Fixed an issue where Scale Factor was not congruent with DirectRoute after algorithm settings were imported.
  • Fixed an issue where MVR was creating an infinite loop reference for dispatched routes.
  • Fixed an issue where empty routes were compressed on the Visibility Dashboard and caused visibility issues.
  • Fixed an issue where non-admin users with the Create Routes permission could not see trucks.
  • Fixed an issue where the Show on Calendar DRTrack setting hid drivers on the Visibility Dashboard Gantt.
  • Fixed an issue where drivers were not populating on the Visibility Dashboard if they were not tied to a device.
  • Fixed an issue where clicking on an unloaded order from the map was not auto-scrolling to the order in Grid View.
  • Fixed an issue where clicking on an unloaded order in Grid View did not open the map card.
  • Fixed an issue where using a true/false filter would show blank in the Filter Editor.
  • Fixed an issue where the Optimize Routes action was not completed.
  • Fixed an issue where not all routes were showing after removing a filter.
  • Fixed an issue where adding volumes or user fields to nested tables was being added in a random order.
  • Fixed an issue where Auto and Dev environments were experiencing slowness.
  • Fixed an issue where Route Details Card View was showing stops out of sequence.
  • Fixed an issue where Latitude and Longitude values were not displaying correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where Drive Hours were calculated incorrectly for dispatched routes.
