To send notifications to customers about order status through Customer Communication Manager, select the routes on the data grid via the checkboxes and hit the Send Notifications button above the grid.
Login Workflows
Login
There are circumstances where a dispatcher may want to log a driver into a route manually, rather than have it handled by a telematics or mobile integration. To log a driver into a route, select the login icon on the data grid; the login/start time will be set for when the button is hit.
After a route is logged in the line in the grid turns green reflecting the change.
Edit Login Time
If the login time of a route needs to be updated, right-click on a currently logged-in route and click Edit Login Time. From here, you can adjust the start date and time of a route.
Undo Login
If a login has occurred by accident or needs to be undone, right-click on a route that is currently logged in and click Undo Login. A prompt will warn that if you proceed, the route will return to preassigned status and the login event is removed.
Logoff
In certain circumstances, a dispatcher might want to log out of a route manually rather than through an integration. To log a driver out of a route, select the logoff icon on the data grid on a currently logged-in route; the logoff/end time will be set for when the button is hit.
Undo Logoff
If a logoff has occurred by accident or needs to be undone, right-click on a route that is logged off and click Undo Logoff. A prompt will warn that if you proceed, the route will return to preassigned status and the route returns to logged-in status.
Scheduling Conflict
The last part of the data grid is an indicator if a scheduling conflict is occurring on a route. A scheduling conflict occurs if one resource (Driver or asset) has a period where it is overlapped on multiple routes.
