DirectRoute lets you easily enable workspace.config encryption and disguise the DRTrack username and password information stored there. The DRTrack username and password are keyed into DirectRoute under Preferences > DRTrack and allow you to download orders, routes, and truck profiles from DRTrack into DirectRoute. Before encryption was available, the DRTrack username and password were visible in the workspace.config file.
To enable encryption of the workspace.config, go to File > Preferences to open the Preferences pane, then navigate to Routing > Password Protection.
Under Password Protection, change the Enable dropdown to True. In the Password field, enter the password you would like to use. This is not your DRTrack password.
When you are done, click OK to close the Preferences window.
