The Assets Management dashboard allows you to create new assets, edit them, create new asset types, or mass upload assets from created Excel spreadsheets.


To visit the Assets Manager, click Admin > Routing > Assets.


Creating New Assets

There are two ways to create new assets: by manually creating them, or by uploading an Excel file with your assets in it. The latter allows you to create new assets en masse.


Manually Creating Assets

  1. Click +ADD NEW. This opens the Add New Asset page.
  2. Select the branch to add the asset to from the Branch dropdown.
  3. Name your new asset in the Asset ID field.
  4. Color (what is this?)
  5. Select the asset type from the Asset Type dropdown.
  6. To show this asset on the calendar, check the box next to Show on Calendar.
  7. Click save when you are done, or click Save As Default to use this asset as the default.


Upload Assets

To mass upload assets, you can upload an Excel spreadsheet (.xls or .xlsx). A sample asset file is available to use and fill in your information.


To upload and add assets:

  1. Click UPLOAD ASSETS.
  2. Under Upload Asset Data, click Choose File then browse to locate the file you created. You can also download the sample file here.
  3. After selecting your file, click the UPLOAD ASSET DATA button.


Editing Assets

To edit an asset:

  1. Click the Asset ID link in the Asset ID column. This opens the Add New Asset page.
  2. Edit the information you wish to edit, then click Save when you are done. Alternatively, click Save As Default to save this asset as the default style.


Asset Types

To create new asset types:

  1. Click ASSET TYPES. This opens the Asset Type Info window.
  2. Click ADD, this opens the New Asset Type Info window.
  3. Name your new asset type, check Routeable, then click SAVE. The new asset type will appear in the list.
  4. Click the Close button when you are done.


Deleting Assets

To delete an asset, check the box next to the asset, then click -DELETE.
